The director of Pebble Tossers, one of our community partners for our class service projects, is helping one of their partner organizations (City Solve) locate volunteers for an urban scavenger hunt event next weekend. The organizers are looking for 4 more volunteers to help man stations for the event: Saturday, April 21st, 9:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Here’s a note from the organizers: Its a super fun day. We will buy a shared lunches for the volunteers, like nachos, and they get a free t-shirt. We would also love to give the volunteers free tickets to next year’s race or they can give them this year too.

This volunteer opportunity is separate from our course assignments, though it could be a great opportunity to serve your community, get a line for your resume, and make new connections. Plus, you might even get an idea for a blog post out of it!
