Reminder: Assignments Due Today and Monday

Assignments due by midnight, Friday, October 25th:

  • WordPress homepage (potential portfolio item): Email to Dr. Holmes (aholmes@gsu.edu)
  • Remember this homepage for a website can be about whatever you’d like. It could relate to your service project; it could be a personal/professional website. It could relate to your blog topic, or it could be something you make up. It could also be the site where you’ll post items for your portfolio for our course. What I’m looking for is that you’re able to demonstrate that you can create a static WordPress website (different from a blog). I’ll look for your careful choices about layout/design features, as well as site architecture and navigation through the menus and titles you selected. You don’t need to create content for the entire site, just the navigation for the site and design/content for the homepage. This is an individual assignment, and I will evaluate this draft version, giving you feedback for revision if you decide to include this in your digital portfolio.
  • Weekly blog post and 1 comment on a peer’s blog

Assignments due by the start of class Monday, October 28th:

  • Blog check: 3 new posts and 3 new comments from the last time Dr. Holmes checked. Email Dr. Holmes if you need to know what the last entry was that she graded for you. Remember to review the blog criteria to make sure you earn the grade you want.

Email me if you have questions!
